Has anyone done shorter maintainence phase than 6 weeks? Just curious, so I can be done by the end of the year...I am down 52 lbs. since July 2nd. This has been an incredible weight loss journey with tons of support from all of you hcgers! I feel so successful, especially when I have failed on every other diet.

  • You have worked so hard to get where you are...don't try to VLCD during the holidays....so many tempations... yummy hors devors, gingerbread, eggnog, cocito, pumkin pie, candy canes, fresh baked rolls, wine at everyparty.... I dunno, now that I think about it - it might be easier to tackle the holidays with hcg in your blood....maybe I will do another round just to "avoid" all those great foods??!!!

    (uh, that was no help was it)

  • You are too funny...Luckily pumpkin pie and wine would be my only downfalls-My husband got pumpkin icecream last night, I declined-but it's so yummy. I was thinking the same thing-easier to overcome temptations over the holidays-but mamaclok said take the break-she learned her lessons!

  • Beth, I am doing a 3 week P3, a week and a half P4, and then a load on Turkey Day for a short 23 day round to end the week of Christmas. I don't know if others would try it, but I thought I would. I am only cutting things short by a week and a couple days. Do what feels right to you.

  • Congrats on all the loss. I know alot of people who only do a 3week P3 , then go right back into P2. This has worked great for them.--but everyone is different, so do whatever you think is best.
