@HanghojLisa I agree. Good comment. ;)

today; musicians and comedians wish they could switch places. The Rat Pack was both.

@Necoconeco2010 i wouldnt be surprised if the classics were to come back

just because a song is popular doesn't mean it isn't good! That is you just trying to stay out of the crowd if you honestly think that. Whilst I agree mainstream music isn't the most original or talent grooming it does give out a lot of catchy happy songs which are fun to dance and sing along too! Music doesn't always have to be serious! However I love older music and country music and classic music just as much because it is great for capturing an emotion but all music is good really <3

@Necoconeco2010 Gotta disagree with you man, even if it is a 7-month old comment. There's plenty of good music going about today. Andrew Bird, Mike Patton, Explosions In The Sky... Lots of talent and creativity. Hell, look at Cherry Poppin' Daddies, Royal Crown Revue, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Squirrel Nut Zippers, etc. AMAZING music, all in the old style.

If there wasn't music like there is today we wouldn't appreciate this as much as we do. I love you Frank Sinatra.

I'm only 22 and I love the Rat Pack. I think older music is great. There isn't very much new music that I actually enjoy, but I do agree that there are some good new music. It's just that most of it is all he same stupid stuff over and over.
Oh man I wish I lived in that era, the great rat pack, their great singing, their great jokes and it was all at a normal level. To hell with these modern times with mostly shitty singers and people with complexes and their cocaine addicted lives. Sad, just sad.

@FearsomeKane couldn't have said it any better. I'm a Rat Pack girl in a crappy music world.
