There may be a few misunderstandings. "The same old show" means we are parodying the old show with a new and different cast in another time and place. Yes, most of the characters are a parody of the original cast, but they are different characters in another setting.
Comm. and tactical wasn't shown on the trailer, but they are there. Also, while the ship class is based off the Miranda, it is a new custom class, Mirage. We hope you keep an eye out for the new trailers closer to the release.

By the look of that bridge, I wouldn't even call the ship a starship, more like a freighter, there's a small console only for helmsman, where's navigation, tactical, communications, engineering.
It has a Miranda-class plaque (if you can call it a Miranda), but there was no Miranda-class till the mid-twenty-third century.
Oh, and by the way, if you are not portraying Captain Kirk, it is not a good idea to use his lines.
