This is really a book to recommend!

(And how would Castaneda's ever shifting perspective to life agree with my own paradise theory? It is just natural to be aware of how one's attention changes from moment to moment and to avoid the robotlikedness of a fixed way of looking at the world or of doing things. So just live according to your very nature and you can be a part of the paradise on Earth!)

  • @ziengiymd - thanks for the heads up on De Mello. This guy is hardcore.

  • @bamboosa :-))

  • @bamboosa ur so right

  • Don't read Castaneda if your life is fine. These books are for those who have lost all desire to participate in human bullshit.

  • K? CC...

  • @imjustpassinthru Who exactly Was K???? And if you dont mind explaining more about the leaks. thanks : )

  • One point from Journey to Xtlan that has stuck with me over the years, ever since reading the book when it was first published, is the concept of "making oneself too available, too accessible," like a fool walking down the center of the street. Also, the point that the first place to start in attaining personal power is "plugging all the leaks" in your behaviors/interactions/relationships/habits, etc. where energy is being lost or squandered. I read "K" back then too, Watts, Gurdieff, etc.

  • @ziengitmd nice suggestion on krishnamurti. i haven't heard of demillo, but k is definitely worth looking into if you're not into conventional guru-ism. btw, journey to ixtlan was my first castaneda read (i have read all the books) and it was a page turner. jti was different from anything i read but had similarities to the eastern mysticism i was into and the own life i was crafting for myself.

  • someone gave me that book almost 15 years ago, and it change my perception of life for ever, it opens my mind to something new, there is no limits in all castaneda's books, it reach out the infinity of universe... should read it again and again, and always learn something new...

    good video! :)

  • You know what else is good, and yes I am a huge Castaneda fan, krishnamurti. He has books and he is on youtube. Don't let the name discourage you. If you like krishnamutri, who may like Anthony Demillo too. I could have mentioned Demillo first actually; he is great. He is on youtube. It is different than Native shamanism or whatever (heh heh) but they talk the truth, both of them do. Check it out.
