I've never understood why people like these characters. Cathy is a spoiled brat who choosed money over love. But he- if you really loved someone you would let them rest in peace, not wish that they would be stuck to one place as ghosts.

@njova25 Yes, or the other way around. Depends on how you look on it. They didn't really suite each other, but they were too much in love to see that.

@bellenyc76 I don't like her as Catherine Earnshaw either ! Although she has the looks, her presence is too passive, soft and delicate. Catherine is feisty, fiery, impulsive and passionate. None of these traits come through in Binoche's performance.
