@chillandthrill87 makes me lol how guthrie would be the first to disagree with you
-
@chillandthrill87 NO...Yngwie sounds like Yngwie which is pretty fucking unique... having said that, wtf DOES THAT HAVE TO DO WITH GUTHRIE'S PLAYING?
Dicks

I dont understand why People always compare somebody to another...Music is a Battleship ?No...either, who really cares who is the fastest or the mostest technically
In my Opinion, creativ and good Music is good Music. Doesnt matter if Guthrie can play all or Dime was great... I hate when People always talk about VS.
Vs your Mother only hahaha

amazing / is there a studio version of this song on youtube?
-
@guitarsehole HAHA! Yes! Yingwie has always sounded like shit, whats good about playing arpeggios @ 300bpm speed doesn't equal musicality. Im more of a jazz guy myself which is why my ear is more drawn to Govan, but Dime was a good player for what he did.
-
@chillandthrill87 Your opinion is noted, however we must agree to disagree. I still get chills from Dime's playing, technical prowess does not equate to GOOD music. It equates to technical prowess...and SOMETIMES it comes out as GOOD music. I mean have you heard Yngwie lately???? I rest my case. :P
-
@guitarsehole I respectfully disagree, Dime admitted that he wasn't a theory guy, and govan bleeds theory. Govan is a technical master and his playing is more creative and musical, you can hear the difference.

that was so, so good
-
@Nimrodsland wow....
How can you idiots compare Guthrie and Dime?? It's like comparing bread to cheese. Bread is better for sandwiches and cheese is better for pizzas!
Guthrie is more technical than Dime, yeah but Dime was a fucking demon!! Neither one is "better". Both have made some unforgettable music.
