Soweto's playing speaks to me like nothing else since seeing Pharaoh Sanders live,more energy & single minded drive in his solos than guys half his age, & Archie Shepp @ Cork back in the 80's, cool as fuck & screwing an almighty screeching wall of sound out of the soprano, straining at the leash without straying into self-indulgent atonality, Steve Williamson back in the day was similarly good, did a jazz funk/ crossover tour in clubs - totally underated - go Soweto, go for it, stay lean & mean!
