I want to give a brief explanation as to why we have to bore out the cases, when installing a 180cc (63mm) Big Bore kit on the GY6 150cc engine.
This video explains, the reasons why, and also shows what I uses to bore the cases.

  • @Reiko0987654321 not sure exactly what you mean, but you can use the stock cylinder or upgrade to the 63mm kit

  • umm cant u bore out an 125cc to fit 180cc kit?

  • @Reiko0987654321 You can, just use our pre-bored out cases and install the 180cc cylinder kit

  • Good. enough flapping your yap. start boring the case already.

  • these cases have alredy been enlarged?

  • What is better ? GY6 4 valve or GY6 2 valve ( big ones of course ), and what i must to do for install an TAIDA 232cc cylinder kit ?

    Thanks.

  • @monsterGY6 any one sell go fast parts for the 50cc like stroker cranks for the gy6 50cc or 4 valve perf. head?

  • Or you could just buy a slightly larger bike that goes faster with stock parts and set up. I see tons of stuff about modifying 50 cc. scooters. I bought a 100cc scooter instead. It's faster and there is nothing to do. Aprilia Scarabeo 100 and Honda elite are both about 100 cc. In this case, I would just buy a 200 or a 250cc scooter. It's much less trouble and no chance of screwing things up.

  • i know on some of the 2 strokes instead of boring the cases ive seen people lathe the cylinder sleeve to fix into the case's. Ive also seen some people cut the sleeve complety off...

  • @Reiko0987654321 Stock id 55MM x 55MM Bored out is 63MM x 63MM

  • Hey I like all ur videos but i was wondering if i can ask for a request on how u use the boring tool i know u bolt it up to the case. But u were saying drill it slow and i was wondering how slow is slow before i begin to bore mine out.
