I drove a lot of detroits but a good 335 with a 12 button in the pump and a t-590 blower was hard to beat unless it was by a 1693 T/A clatterpillar

NICE TRUCK, THE RIMS LOOK GOOD.

yes it does come with a jake but you would be better dragging your feet for as little as they held back

A big 6 cylinder gets better mileage than a small 12 cylinder.
-
yep, they were made with fuel mileage being the 1st priority, not exactly a high power engine, but will get pretty much any job done eventually.
they were known for cracking the heads around the injectors although

needs more wheelbase then it rides like a bus. Always liked COE's better for "sightseeing" and learned on Emeryvilles with Ross cam steering. Had 71 KW COE w/ 12V71NA, 220" wheelbase. Used to give Monfort a run for their money across 80 in PA and dropped 1 gear on snowshoe with 46,000 in box. Those days are long gone. 4 valve heads didn't last with reduced sulphur. That's a nice truck though.

Thanks speedskiff2. It doesn't ride too bad though now with torsion, and good roads here in Ky. tony
