  • I think it is time to throw The Specter back into the sea....open Primary!

  • If Specter wants the perks then he'd better earn his stripes as a Democrat on healthcare and the employee free choice act.

  • I feel pretty sure I am going to give money to the Sestak campaign -- even though I live in California. But, I am willing to give Specter a chance to be a Democrat. We will be watching him very closely. If I lived in Penn, I would be voting for Sestak in the primary either way.

  • why wait? I'm going to support sestak (or any other non-arlen Democrat)

  • Arlen Specter BETTER vote for Obama's progressive agenda -- or we will get a new PROGRESSIVE SENATOR (Sestak) to REPLACE HIM.

  • Well said!

  • Reid is a liar.

  • Reid is a useless spineless piece of crap

    PRIMARY HIM

  • When Dems compete the people win!

  • This is actually a prime opportunity to dump the old shithead on his wrinkled, corrupt ass.

Simply support someone else in the primary. Maybe the Republicans will think twice of trusting him again, and run someone else.

Specter is a piece of shit. He's a political philanderer and this latest gimmick to stay in power is evidence of that.

Tell him to pound sand and find a real job, the fucker.

  • Its true he has no balls.

  • Bingo. Seems like a bribe, but i'm all for it. Want your seniority back Spector? Come through with votes.

And even then, open primary should still be an option. He came crying to the Democrats, not the other way around. Good luck Spector.
