nice idea, but if you've tried biking with a helmet-rear-view mirror, you'll fnd out it's really hard (and dangerous) to change focus from the close-up mirror and look at the street as well. I imagine this is even harder with the eyepiece! Of course, that may bother you only if you're over 40 with deteriorating focal flexibility :-)

why not just put the phone on the front of the bike and connect to the eye piece there

Great concept i hope he keeps it mounted on top of the helmet so that I can get a new iphone on a five finger discount
