We're F*cked. Bottom line. It doesn't make a difference who's president. It wouldn't be any better with Mccain, Obama isn't in charge, the governments not in charge either, they're just there to make you think someones trying to work to change things for the side who turned out the most for the elections. The dollar will collapse completely, and out comes the Amero, and bam before you know it, 1984.

@jmortimer37 Fannie and Freddie didn't cause the crisis, which Schiff claims. He never brings up all the ridiculous moves of Wall Street or the fact that before the late 90s, Wall Street wasn't involved in so much in housing. Also, he's predicted hyper-inflation every year since then and he's been wrong every time. Get over yourself, he's a fraud who always cries wolf, he just happen to be right but for the wrong reasons.
Think I'm wrong, where was the CRA and Fannie in Europe? Idiot.

@girardbcp hey numbnuts his pollitical prepresidential trip was self explainatory! the clown is pure nwo.picked by kissinger and bzinski.but you just voted for him because he's black huh? and to stand up for that you call everyone racist huh?

@BeantownJim Racism, it must be great for you. You do know Obama wasn't President until 2009, 08' is the election year and the bubble popped in 2007. Facts suck don't they?

@girardbcp Where ya been? This vid was in 08. hahaha And i was right. That kenyan import was owned by the cfr,imf the u.n. Unamerican foreigner!
-
@BeantownJim Why blame him for the fire caused by Bush and the Republicans? They handed the torch over then pointed at him for what they did! Hahaha, classic GOP move.

@davidmaren2000 That's bullshit - Western Europe is imploding because of a liquidity problem brought on by the inception of the Euro - Countries with social democratic economic policies that stayed out of the Euro - like Sweden and Norway are doing fine.
1 problem with this video is Peter Schiff over-inflates the role of the GSEs. Plus he's been wrong economically ever since the bubble.

@girardbcp Several problems with your comment...when I made the video in September of 2008, he was being proven right...in 2006 he published a book titled "Crash Proof: The Coming Economic Collapse. I didn't put him in the video making predictions, though, it's a video describing how the crisis started. It's your opinion he "over-inflates" that issue, but it's the issue he based his rather prophetic book on, so it was proven correct. His comments are both relevant and accurate for the piece.

@jmortimer37 but largely wrong on most predictions and for the causes of the crash.

@girardbcp Stop being a twit. He was correct about this and why it happened. That's why he's in this video. I could give a shit about anything else you have to say...because you are largely wrong on just about everything you have said in these comments.

@davidmaren2000 - The answer is simple. Austrian economists have not been right. They say the same things over and over again without proof. There is a reason for that. There is no proof to be had. The exception is on some libertarian websites where they change the facts, move years, and otherwise distort things.
Since 1980, per capita GDP went up by zero outside of the Clinton/Obama years, as regressive policies drove money into asset bubbles and starved economic growth.

@sfjeff1089 The Austrians have been proven right. The idiots on CNBC really enjoyed laughing at the "Austrians" prior to 2008. You'll have to provide some proof of this "date and fact changing" nonsense.
How in the hell do you act like Clinton did something for the GDP? He sent more manufacturing over seas than any other president...ever. Obama has done nothing at all either. I'm not saying that the Republicans did anything to help the situation...it's obvious they are just as guilty.
