It normally doesn't do this....

I was told the M44-7 doesn't ever skip, but somehow it does for me.

  • i think that black n white blocks over there are sending wrong vibes to your needle.. yea that must be it

  • lol thats the 45 case

  • Everyone knows you don't park on the groove!

    Damn city buses!

  • hey you never know. they could have run out of space at the depot...?

  • Whats the the name of the track youur useing

  • @Noodle880 its from the hee haw breaks on the back side

  • People seem to be ignoring the clear possibility that the bus is (or seems to be) hitting the cartrige.

  • i know that they are rare but if you look around you can find records without the bus on them and that may help you situation if thats not it maybe put the record on top of the tonearm see if that helps and if not shit maybe buy a guitar to smash over the turntable to show it who's boss

  • Hmmm, that's a hard one to figure out. Lol

  • use black shoe polish thats what i do

  • @Nightmeare Clean them off with glass cleaner, wping in the direction of the groove and using a soft cloth. Find a soft yet bristly cloth (such as a very soft wash cloth) and rub the record in the direction of the groove; you might need to apply a little pressure. Worst case scenario, I have taken a very thin sewing needle and very gently moved it through the grooves in the area of skip.

  • @Grenozh The bus is hitting the tonearm

  • Press it slowly with your finger in the thumb nail of the turntable to able the sound entirely rom your record. I'm sorry 'bout my bad english, i hope you had understood what exactly to do on this case man.

  • Take that damn bus off the record! The bus is hitting the tonearm.

  • :D mister is a joker

  • I'd apply more tracking weight. A bus just like that comes with all the records I buy and they all play just fine. I'd take your turntable back if that doesn't solve this mystery. That really is a shame... Still, nice bus.

  • hahahaha your killing me man

  • Nice one :)

But i do have actually some records that skip can anyone tell me how can i fix them? (and no there are no busses on mine :P)
