Kermit tests Herry (who's blindfolded) to see if he can tell what number he has. Herry breaks it and Cookie comes in and guesses what the number is using his favorite God-given talent.

  • Half the intro is missing on this sketch. But does anyone have the full intro and version of this sketch?

  • Who cares?

  • What do you mean "who cares"? I was only trying to be helpful and ask if somebody had this sketch with the full intro or not. Does someone have this one with the full intro or not?

  • What does a mere 2 seconds matter?

  • "It tastes like a 5." LOL Cookie Monster always made a multi-sensory experience out of learning. :)

  • There's a Mexican restaurant in town where the house specialty is a number 5 smothered in mayonnaise. They call it the Cinco de Mayo. Dee-lish!

  • Broke number five.

  • @doug022771 Ohhhh! Sorry, but I'll go get a Band-Aid.

  • I love the face Kermit made after Cookie Monster told him that the pieces of the number tasted like a five. Also, I remember when this sketch aired for the first time back in 1979! :)

  • It looked like Harry crumbled the 5 into 5 pieces to show you how many 5 is.

  • Has anyone got the clip with Kermit discussing same and different with Telly Monster?

  • For Cookie, if at first you don't succeed...EAT!!! i always say!

  • My bad. I meant...

I was only making sure whether somebody had this skit with the full intro or not (even though it's optional).

  • When in doubt, ahm nahm nahm nahm! Peace.

  • weird, cookie called kermit by his name. He has never done that in other sketches, he just calls him frog

  • This taste like . . . a chocolate chip cookie (!)
