@royclung damn... not bad 216whp better than what the 330i e90 does
-
@trevchaser heh just liek vtec...seriously look at stock dynos. variable valve timing like that typically has a dip before /during engagement ...from the factory
-
Very sexy sounds :D
-
keep in mind 350z's and g35's claim 300 hp on there cars but dyno results show they only make about 215 - 225 depending on the year
-
To me this is a tell tale sign that bmw, once again, has rated one of their vehicles with less hp than it truly has. Even at a 15% drivetrain loss a zhp should be putting down in the 195-200 rwhp range. nice run

zhp ftw!

wow, 216 WHP. it is pretty good. Mine has 204 WHP bone stock. Is that CAI can generate that much ?

Whats up with that dip in torque around 3500-4k rpm range?

@T1NACAO That is when the Double VANOS system kicks in. It is not noticeable when driving.

It was cold out and the dyno was uncorrected. I believe the conditions are what made the engine produce that much power. If your dyno run was done in the same conditions it would probably make the same. Maybe 2hp less if you don't have CAI. CAI is all for a more aggressive sound at wide open throttle after 3,500RPM.
