Jeep® Day of Service | Operation SAFE Return

The USO Warrior and Family Center in Ft. Belvoir, VA is the first of two new USO centers in the United States specifically designed to provide a continuum of care for our wounded, ill and injured troops as they prepare to return to active duty or transition to the next phase of life.

As part of the launch of the Jeep® and USO Operation SAFE Return campaign, the Jeep brand hosted a Day of Service event at the Ft. Belvior center on February 6th and sent 20+ brand employees to serve as volunteers for the day.

The event was catered by Chef John Besh who prepared meals for 200+ troops and families in attendance from the base. Actress Olivia Munn was in attendance to celebrate the partnership along with NFL Super Bowl Champion Ray Rice of the Baltimore Ravens, DJ D'Nice, United Stated Army Colonel Gregory D. Gadson and several executives from the USO.

In addition, the Jeep brand has created the "Tribute for Troops" social media campaign, an effort that encourages citizens to support troops in their communities. Now through Mon. May 27, the Jeep brand will donate $1 for every person who pledges to join the movement and tweets out their efforts using the hash tag #joinOSR.
