  • Haier, Lenovo, ZTE and Huawei are exceptions - the first two are well-ahead in the value-chain brand game (Haier has had a brand strategy for 15 years). Apart from these four, don't expect too many Chinese brands in Europe over the short term (except a few M&As buying Western brands). It'll be interesting to see if they get strong-armed by the Chinese government to use domstic logistics suppliers (such as Sinotrans) for their global supply chain. Sinotrans might even gobble up TNT Express.
