It's funny, we never did this for my dog's birthdays (he'd get a little treat though), but he KNEW when Christmas was close! He would start getting soooo excited a few days before and somehow knew what day Christmas was. We would give him a huge bone and other goodies. He was like a little kid! This really brought back good memories. He died a long time ago but he's still in my heart today. I miss you Rusty :-(

Happy (belated) birthday!!! -- our golden retrievers have birthday's close to each other, mine is on June 11. They are absolutely adorable, they stay puppies forever!

That's the way I eat my birthday cake - I eat some, push it away, then go back two or three more times. I do this until it's all gone. Once gone, the guilt is gone, too, because then I don't have to go back two and three times. Don't you just LUV birthdays - LOL
