All of King Gori's probs were the odds stacked against him NOT the stength of Grendizer as it was 5 vs 2 (Grendizer, Spacer II, Drill Spacer & sea spacer and the vegans VS King Gori & Genral Dantos)who had Grendizer beat until a cheap blindsided attack by drillspacer & still King Gori had Grendizer in an UNbreakable headlock & it wasonly when the vegans killed him & the control device did Grendizer have ANY chance. Similar with Captin Gorman who out fought Grendizer until the cheapshot by Blacki

Hence no advantage by having the controller as it directs and gives focused fighting skills to King Gori just as The Duke adds to Grandizer. As to the Vegas prob the stupidest enemy I have every seen. Why do they keep sending saucer squadrons up against Gradizer after 40, 50 60, 70 episodes?? Even the last episode they do it again ? These should be uses as diversions only a scramble away when grandizer appears & attack the Research Center while gradizer if fighting the Saucer Beast.

All of the robots are controlled by intellegent beings ie (Gradizer has Duke Freed) thus King Gori being controled only puts him on a level playing field with Grandizer thus this is neutral as every other robot has a pilot. I think having 4 vs 1 (Grandizer, Spacer 2 & the other 2 anoying spacer) is the most obvious advantage we see in these episodes. Mazinger z fights his last battle (10 Vs 1) as a real man(robot) should, see movie version mazinger z & intro Great Mazinger now that guts

King Gori took a full all out attack by BOTH Grandizer & Spacer 2 at the same time and had no physical damage. It was only at the end AFTER outside interference (control device destroyed) that Grandizer was able to have ANY effect, thus we conclude without the outside help Gradizer loses agaist King Gori. Other Mazinger fans have agreed after much discussion with this logical conclusion.

Incredible episode, Grandizer finally really damaged. Without the outside help Grandizer would have been defeated here in these 2 episodes, as you already know.
