I think it is illegal because it makes some people pacifists. We lost Vietnam because of weed. I don't mean that as a bad thing, but soldiers started smoking up and questioning why they were even there.

well... indeed you ARE a fag for listening to the government, haha... all WE people know is that they say they care about us... well in some cases they actually do, BUT, governments are there to "protect" their people... and who says whats good protection? right, the government... we cannot say whats good for us because we are not allowed to do anything more than choose our leaders... what our leaders do lays in their hands, not in ours and of course they can do what they want...

@ticktock8692 I stopped reading when i read the term 'gateway drug'.

The only reason cannabis is deemed a 'gateway drug' is because of the black market; ie, let's imagine you have a drug dealer, whom you wanted to get an ounce off. the dealer says 'hey, i don't have any weed today, why don't you try this instead?' however if it was legal you could safely get the cannabis without the temptation or risk to take other drugs. also you can't be addicted to weed.

@RevolutionNewz Doesnt cure cancer.. Maybe it does. I don't know. It does stop tumors from growing and spreading. Not curing it, but lowering the risk that it could spread to other parts of the body. I still think its something we should look at for medical reasons.

@ticktock8692 Listen, i'm not sure if you have ever tried marijuana or not, but I have. I have used marijuana recreationally many times, although not habitually. It's not addictive at all. The best way I can describe what it does, is that it simply makes everything better. Everything is more worth doing, as long as its chill. If you play guitar, smoke some pot, then play guitar... trust me. Its pure politics why its illegal. There really is no sensible reason for this.
