The robot stops and makes a 3D scan.
It detects the plate and continous moving. (The video was made in 2003). Newer version avoid the stop and go behavior with continously rotating 3D laserscanner e.g.

The laserscanner you are using on top of the robot is a sick laserscanner.
Is it the PLS 100-111 Version?
If yes, can you send me pease a copy of the data telegram description?

Hi,
we did the video in 2002 with a sick lms 200 and a pls. the lms 100 is newer. i think the data telegram should be avialable at sicks website.
