This is a project we had to do for Mr. Bull's Honors World History class on Imperialism. Its major focuses (or foci) are China and Great Britain's dispute over opium, the Sepoy Mutiny in India, and the Berlin Conference.

This video features the songs "Candy Perfume Girl" by Madonna, "Hong Kong Garden (With Strings Intro)" by Siouxsie & the Banshees, "Indian Summer" by Glenn Miller, "O Verona (Reprise)" by Nellee Hooper, "Bad Reputation" by Joan Jett, "Village Haus #1" from Disneyland, and "London Calling" by the Clash.

  • great lessons from history. China and India perceives these events as legitimate reasons to become ever more powerful.
