what was worng with your sub could of possibly been that the cone was hitting its xmax-excursion max and the lead connected to the cone snapped
and for the ep2500 i wouldnt worry my amp does that and most amps do it great vid!

My ep2500 does that everytime i shut it off, i found out that it does that to drain out the rest of the power built up from it. Hope that helps.

i have fixed a speaker with that same problem before. its takes time and some steady hands to kix it. u can fix it yourself. but if under warrenty take it back.

wow ur a box collector to lol yeah i had problems with my speakers bt never found out what was wrong nothing unpluged though
