Sport Science investigates how much horse power goes into a NASCAR vehicle and how that compares to the car in your driveway. Originally a comparison of steam engines versus horses. The amount of work a horse can do in a period of time. Current race cars go at 850 horsepower at a time. Engines are 2 times larger and gulp down 5 times as much fuel as the car in your driveway.
