According to various sources, the Blu-ray Level sets for the anime Dragon Ball Z just been cancelled by Funimation Entertainment, reason for their cancellation was due to "not keeping up with the remastering". Here's the link for more information: http://www.rightstuf.com/rssite/main/news/individual/?ForumThreadName=FT00000... Special thanks to WonderBook for the opening intro: http://www.youtube.com/user/WonderBooks

  • Maybe if they sold them over in the UK and possibly Europe they could of made more money off them.

  • @NeoCCG

Probably, most Funimation items are sold through Manga Entertainment.

  • These aren't cancelled lol. The remaster is way to expensive and they could continue but they would have to raise the retail prices for the sets. So these will continue, FUNimation is looking for alternatives, it could be higher prices or be a cheaper remaster

  • @UltimateGOKUX

Yeah, 3 days ago ( in which I uploaded) there wasn't any further detail on if Funimation was looking cheaper ways to release the sets. I updated the title. =d

  • I was wondering is funimation is gonna release the bluray level around june?

  • @UltimateSSJ4GokouEX

Well, they announced that they're discontinuing the rest of the Level sets, so we probably won't see them around June.

  • there cancelled now... glaaaad kai 7/8 comes out

  • @iTouchin Unfortunately, although they could always produce them in a european based manufacturer, that could half the cost but at the same time double it :L

  • @TylerPreston20 Only thing they don't sell DBZ or One piece which they could make money off :L

  • @NeoCCG Be a lot of import fee's for a relatively low demand :S

  • @danerocks99 I'm sorry we got off on the wrong foot here.

  • @anti4kids2000 You wish. And that is why I said "FUNimation Music" which includes the music used BEFORE the middle of the Ginyu fight.

And I've watched clips of tons of dubs. I'm talking, I've watched some of the HORRIBLE European English Dubs and I've watched all of Ocean's episodes. I even watched the first FUNimation broadcast dub. I've done my research as well and by the looks of it, so have you. So instead of saying you know more, just be calm because it is not the end of the world. Okay?

  • @danerocks99 You sound like you're butthurt. I wasn't talking about the Dragon Boxes. You do know you won't be able to enjoy Bruce Faulconer's music in the first 67 episodes, right? You're telling me I would know something if I owned the Dragon Boxes when I in fact have the first one? Buddy, I did research on this topic. I know way more about the DBZ dub and the dvds that were release than you.

  • @danerocks99 If you hate the Japanese music than you hate the one used for Dragon Ball. The Funimation music is on there. Look in the options.

My goodness, the Dragon Ball fanbase are so dumb they can't operate a simple dvd. What the fuck?
