Me questioning Michael Wilbon, On his assessment of the tragic murder of Sean Taylor. Its hard to hear my question so I will post it verbatim.
"Good Evening Mr. Wilbon, I have always respected your opinions as a journalist for the Washington post, but recently you have lost my respect with the comments you have made about Sean Taylor. If I may quote your column from Wednesday, November 28, 2007 you said, when speaking about the shooting of Washington Redskin Free Safety Sean Taylor, "I wasn't surprised in the least when I heard the news Monday morning that Sean Taylor had been shot in his home by an intruder. Angry? Yes. Surprised? Not even a little. It was only in June 2006 that Taylor, originally charged with a felony, pleaded no contest to assault and battery charges after brandishing a gun during a battle over who took his all-terrain vehicles in Florida. After that, an angry crew pulled up on Taylor and his boys and pumped at least 15 bullets into his sport-utility vehicle. So why would anybody be surprised? Had it been Shawn Springs, I would have been stunned. But not Sean Taylor." Your picture of what transpired the moments before Sean Taylor's life was ended could not be farther from the truth Now I understand that you have the right to express your own opinion, but to be one of the primary(first) individuals to comment on the shooting you were the farthest from the truth, not only was Sean Taylor's shooting an act of random violence that could have been perpetrated upon anyone of us, but you decided to bring up his past mistakes as a reason for his shooting. When this column was written Sean Taylor was still clinging to life and the only thoughts should have been prayers for a father, son, and teammate. Not leaving the general area where you have lived your entire life doesn't mean that you deserve or asking to be shot. Also on your television show PTI you were approached with the question did you believe that Sean Taylor had changed his ways even after hearing testimony from Clinton Portis and Joe Gibbs about how his newly born daughter had changed his life. You responded that you would not take these words as truth, that they were just words that fit the teams agenda and public relations. Today all I ask of you is to apologize to the Sean Taylor family for the injustice you have created with your aforementioned statements."
Great post man. Wilborn is a tool and a idiot.
He and many peopl in the media pissed on Sean Taylor's while the man was fighting for his life protecting his future wife and son.

Wilbon you are a disgrace to your profession and our city. Without having any facts you talked negatively about a man on his deathbed and inferred that he had done something wrong to get himself into the situation. He turned out to be innocent, and he lost his life. Even if you were justified in your original statement, you apoligize because it is the right thing to do as a human being. People apoligize for mistakes all the time, it's called being a man. Give it a try sometime.
