Thanks for posting this up - great simple instructions - bowl was great idea as screws extremely small! Watch out for cable 3 (small one) - need to pop up the tiny white flick switch thing to get it back in

dude youre a legend! one thing - maybe good to mention the magnetic screwdriver before you start!! also..thanks man, save me $200! :)

Thanks for these two videos, they are a great help! Getting the materials for my phone soon to do the same, so I'm reading up a bit now.
There are no additional adhesives involved to keep the screen from getting loose of the phone? It just snaps to the top side of the phone and is attached by two screws and some pressure?

Wow, what an amazing video. I don't wanna sound over the top lol but you seriously helped me big time :) I followed your guide every step of the way and my iPhone 3G now has a screen which looks like new. Thanks again!

Took it apart ok and carefully re assembled it but black screen. It is on as I can hear sound. I assumed it must be a cable connection but Ive re done this a dozen times. getting desperate now, anything else regarding the taking apart that may cause this. I was extremely careful and no visible breaks. Help if Possible please.

Iphone 4 is built differently. Once my iphone 4 screen gets dusty and it's out of warranty, sure!

@moheb08 first off it's not my fault you weren't careful with your phone, second I didn't force you to do anything, and third....what exactly is wrong with it? Did you check and make SURE all of the ribbon cables were plugged back in correctly? That could be the culprit, and an easy fix assuming you didn't actually break something.
