Take a ride on a 1972 Brantford GM T6H-4521! This bus is numbered 9725, and has a Detroit Diesel 6V71N engine.

This video was recorded on route 6 between King Street and St. Patricks Drive.

This is currently the oldest servicing bus in Ontario!

  • You know what? I'm glad I wasted 8 minutes of your pathetic life. If you don't want to watch it don't fucking watch it! Fuck off!

    And learn to spell.

  • what was that radio in background in the fishbowl????

  • Two way radio. Brantford needs to look into something better lol.

  • You could have atleast shown the grand river.

  • Grand River is ugly and brown. Why would you want to look at it?

  • I miss those old buses in kingston

  • This one don't sound like an early 1970 model, sounds more like 1977 or later models (1980s like TTCs)

  • ah cool video,i don't see too many of these ol GM buses running in the usa,and that bus sounds good and runs good.

  • Hold up, what fareboxes does Brantford Transit use?

It definitely sounds like the same fareboxes New Jersey Transit uses on all of their local buses! Oh lord....

  • Well there were fishbowls that were built with HVAC, but weren't the best ones at all.

I rode a fishie with A/C a few times, it was cold as shit in the back, but muggy and not cold at all in the front. I would just experiment with a Thermo-King Roof-mount A/C and freeze the pax to death, lol.

  • i ride the bus to school and ive never got to ride in this bus. =(

  • Wait.. was there even cameras available to the general public then, unless you were rich of course, in which case you sure as hell wouldnt be riding the bus~

MAybe i got it all wrong and this was filmed in 90 or something and the bus itself was made in 72! haha lol

  • Is this really from '72?!

Its hard to believe from the beginning to where i just paused @ 2:08, every store and street is unchanged. Even Brant Loans Till Payday, Sunoco, Kings Diner... weird! :P

    The SUV @ 1:58

The sleek Intrepid- lookin car @ 0:50

The Ford Bronco lookin thing @ 0:39

  • Wow, the last time I rode in a fishbowl was around 1990 (in Boston)! Even then, they were all but replaced. This video brought back some fond memories (especially the windows rattling!).

  • God damn! Listen to that bitch wail!
