Peshawar Khyber Road Bomb Blast Footage 13 Nov 2009

Amateur video of the Peshawar Bomb Blast infront of an office of a sensitive security agency located at the intersection of Khyber Road - Artillery Road. (Explosion occured at 0645 hrs on 13 November 2009)
10-15 shots were fired in rapid succession before the blast. This video was shot 20-30 seconds right after the explosion. (You may hear sound of glass pieces still falling in the background as windows got smashed with the shockwave) Pray for peace in the country and the world.

Update: Intial reports indicate 16 dead, and 100 hurt. The blast occured at 6:45am. It has been described as being "one of the most powerful bomb explosions ever witnessed" in the region. It comes at a time when the military operation against the miscreants is progressing speedily in Waziristan and Swat regions of Pakistan.
The security agency's office has been a hub of activities since the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan in 1977-78. It had barricades all around it and was well fortified. The shots fired at the car driven by a suicide bomber came from security officials who laid down their lives so others could be safe. They did not allow the explosive laden car to enter the building premises. May their souls rest in peace. They are our true heroes.
