I just got a KitchenAid mixer for Christmas, so I decided to give your banana bread a try. Now, keep in mind, I'm just some dude from Boston that's never cooked a thing in his life. After following your recipe to the tee, this banana bread came out AWESOME!!! I've been looking to make something homemade to bring to family events and parties, and I think I've found that perfect thing with your banana bread! Thanks for the recipe!

Thanks a bundle ChefTips, this recipe really helped! Instead of using all purpose flour, I grinded oats(whole grains are always more superior to enriched flours, health wise)(can use whole wheat). And instead of all butter, I also used mostly Neufchatel Cheese (similar to cream cheese) instead of all butter. Both (Neufchatel Cheese and grains) I have noticed added an extra richness and moistness to my baked goods! Thanks again Chef!



For a one regular loaf of banana bread how much sour cream should i add?
