Inland (Gabbla) 2008 : Algeria/France

มาเล็ค นักทำแผนที่ได้รับงานในแถบตะวันตกของแอลจีเรีย วันหนึ่งเขาได้พบหญิงสาวคนหนึ่งซ่อนตัวอยู่ในกระท่อมทะเลทราย เธอเป็นชาวแอฟริกันที่ไม่ยอมบอกชื่อ ลักดาร์ เพื่อนของมาเล็ค เดินทางตามมา แต่พบว่าทั้งมาเล็คและหญิงสาวได้หายตัวไปแล้ว ทั้งคู่พากันหนีขึ้นเหนือไปยังสุดชายแดนโมร็อคโคซึ่งจะเป็นเส้นทางไปสู่ เมืองเล็กๆ ของชาวสเปนที่ชื่อว่าเมลิลล่า แต่หญิงสาวไม่อยากจะเข้าไปในเขตแดนยุโรป เธอเหนื่อยล้าและอยากกลับบ้าน ทั้งคู่จึงออกเดินทางสู่ทะเลทราย...สู่ความไม่แบ่งแยกระหว่างกันและกัน

The topographer Malek accepts a job in the region of western Algeria. One day, he discovers a young woman hiding in a corner of a Saharan hut. Shes an African woman and wont give her name. Lakhdar, Maleks friend, arrives at the site, to find that both she and Malek have disappeared. At first, the two runaways head north, towards the Moroccan frontier which is the route to reach the Spanish enclave of Melilla. But the young woman doesnt want to flee to Europe; shes exhausted and wants to return home. Together they travel towards the desert, and towards a point of mutual disappearance.
