@3333sweetie Both the EAA and USUA offer ultralight pilots licenses, but there is no requirement that an ultralight pilot have a pilot's license. Obviously, it would be really dumb not to get training first. The lowest grades of pilot's license that a helicopter pilot can get in the US are \the Recreational and\ Private Pilot's licenses. Only ultralights can be flown without a pilot's license.

@Only4Ganja @Only4Ganja their about 40 000 and you need a pilots license for the normal skid heli, but for the float equipped one you dont, but you still do need air clearance before taking off and you cant just fly "anywhere" :P...but the heli is totally dooable
