  • @diegolfz16 i think you need a specific edition

  • @Windows8Freek this stuff seems hard to do, you should be thanking zorin os not whining of jealousy

  • Nice port!!!

    kDE has the Powa.

  • @Windows8Freek

there are two major ways to do it,

compile the kernel and install packages

    use susestudio or something

  • @kivbirdster I agree. At first glance it's kinda nice for Windows users to make a smooth transition but... Linux isn't Windows... and most people who are switching over to Linux is to get away from Windows. This kinda feels like something what MS would do in my opinion. If a person wants to switch... let them understand that Linux isn't Windows and let them adjust to the learning curve. Don't try and trick them into believing it's just another version of Windows. Just my opinion.

  • @zawette linux and on top of that ubuntu

  • I'll still with Ubuntu, because for some reason, I don't like how it looks visually. Sorry but, this is a bit ugly :S Or maybe special effects are too overdone? But even considering that, it seems... a bit... ugly v_v

  • @zawette, yes it is derived from the Ubuntu distro of linux. The GUI is such that newbies to Linux don't get overwhelmed with the differences. It can hence be modeled to look like popular Windows OSes, Mac OS and classic Linux (mostly, GNOME DE)

  • this is based on linux?

  • @tijs14tijs Ihavent tried this yet but i guarentee that ubuntu will be my fave still followed by mint :)
