@kivbirdster I agree. At first glance it's kinda nice for Windows users to make a smooth transition but... Linux isn't Windows... and most people who are switching over to Linux is to get away from Windows. This kinda feels like something what MS would do in my opinion. If a person wants to switch... let them understand that Linux isn't Windows and let them adjust to the learning curve. Don't try and trick them into believing it's just another version of Windows. Just my opinion.

I'll still with Ubuntu, because for some reason, I don't like how it looks visually. Sorry but, this is a bit ugly :S Or maybe special effects are too overdone? But even considering that, it seems... a bit... ugly v_v

@zawette, yes it is derived from the Ubuntu distro of linux. The GUI is such that newbies to Linux don't get overwhelmed with the differences. It can hence be modeled to look like popular Windows OSes, Mac OS and classic Linux (mostly, GNOME DE)
