here is a guitar arrangement I pulled together of pannonica, a thelonious monk tune that I love on piano. Its not a very guitaristic tune, but I got a start. anyone got any ways to build on this, have at it.

I am playing it on a kind of beat up, but very beautiful sounding and playing Martin 00-17 from 1942. Really lovely sounding instrument, not necessarily a jazz box of course.

Pannonica is named for a danish baron who befriended a bunch of the great black musicians of the 40's and 50's. I just got her book called Three Wishes. She was an admirable person, and our daughter is named Nica after her.
