  • I keep meaning to pick up that Withered record. Great list! Inspired me to bust out that Yakuza record again.

  • @JGCSOUND Definitely pick up that Withered album! So sick. And thanks again for The Body, and Early Graves, wouldn't have got to hear either record if it wasn't for you.

  • I kept wondering if you were gonna do one, but forgot all about it for a while. Good choices, yoster.

  • Nice top 10, but it's not quite as good as the Top Ten Christian Metal Bands Of All-time video.

  • Interesting list.

  • @stabyourcat

I got that Withered and have beeen listening to it everyday, there is so much to devour. Love it!!

Thats awesome man, now i know I'm doin' something right-jgc

  • THE BODY! So ticked I never got a chance to review that...

  • Also, I just realized that Howl reminds me of Soilent Green rather strongly, which goes a long way to explaining why I love it so such.

  • Very excellent list. I'm only familiar with four of the bands on here (Black Breath, Misery Index, Kylesa and Withered), but I really like the others too. In particular I'm intrigued by Howl, mostly because they hit a sweet spot for me; Intentionally dirty production, crust-punk influenced vocals, and an overall gnarled but still epic atmosphere. Everything else you used I also enjoyed, but I did find the Horseback song kind of lacking in energy, but that's just my ignorant first impression.
