  • @checktheavailability Nahhhhhhhhhhh. More like, With the 16th pick, The Portland Trail Blazers select, Luke Babbitt! Which happened. Fuck Utah. GO BLAZERS!

  • The final Pritchslap was executed on draft night 2010. When is Minnesota going to learn? Keep any player Portland wants from you. We already got Brandon Roy from them.

  • I was so THRILLED when the Twolves drafted him but then traded him for.....Martel Webster ??!!

Martell Webster only missed the whole year last year and part of this year and dunked the ball when the Twolves needed a three.....damnit Twolves

  • terrible version of beasley at best

  • I remember watching Luke on Nevada thinking dam this dude is good. He just needs to find his role in the NBA.

  • I used to call Babbit a little more NBA ready than Hayward now that Gordon has come a long way physically(and I do mean a LONG way) Gordon's all around skills are better....Babbit has yet to have a 19 point game or better if I'm not mistaken....Gordon has played hardly any minutes, but the games when he did play 19,22,34pt games....slow progression, but he will become an animal in this league....Babbit rebounds better but hes a big 3 or a small 4...Gordon does everything else better than Luke.

  • he is absolutely horrible in the NBA. His game did not translate at all. I would be shocked if he makes the portland squad this year.

  • @MisterBinx

Love is too good not to play 38+ a night even though his defense (while improving) is sub-par. The only way I see the Wolves drafting Williams is if they trade Beasley, otherwise there isn't enough minutes to go around. The Wolves are in a good position, especially after signing Rubio. Maybe you could give them a little credit for building a team filled with young talent and tons of salary cap flexibility.

  • @mellowmark1 You have a good point about Roy, but he did save our franchise. Dude would have been a top 3 player in franchise history. Right after Bill Walton, and maybe 2-3 with Drexler. That's worst case.

I still think the Wolves should take Williams or maybe even Kanter. If it's a weak draft, then they might as well get a solid piece for the future. Kevin Love is a terrible defender. He makes Al Jefferson seem like Dwight Howard. I know Darko is a good shot blocker, but they need more talent

  • @MisterBinx

Roy being a superstar lead to Portland giving him a huge contract. If Minny kept Roy they'd be in the same boat, owing like 60 mil to a guy who can barely walk. His injuries were a degenerative thing, so it could've happened anywhere. Also Minny may very well keep their pick, but even if they didn't it's a weak draft where the guy projected to fall to them plays a filled position. With all the young talent they have on their roster they need some veteran leadership.

  • @mellowmark1 Yeah Babbit is terrible, but the years we got out of Roy were magical. So Minny still messed up. He might not have been hurt if went there too. So they could of had a superstar type player.

Look at Minny, going to trade the number 2 pick. Bunch of idiots.

  • @MisterBinx

Roy has a huge contract owed to him without a good knee to speak of and Babbitt is fucking horrible. Time to eat some crow.
