I wish a good team with a good offensive line and a good defense would sign David Carr and give him a real chance so at least the debate would be settled once and for all. He might stink like Jake Plummer did, or he might be successful like Vinny Testaverde was. But either way we'd know for sure finally. My own guess? Carr would stink like Jake Plummer did, but again, we'll never know until it happens.

Ppl don't "know" football, that is what makes them "fans" and not players or coaches! Carr 's misfortune was being drafted by the worst team at the time to field the game.

No, it is an Organization problem which is why I defend Carr. As I said, look at who he had, NO ONE! Wali Lundy at RB, bad WRs HORRIBLE O-line etc...the team is always going to fail because the FANS blamed CARR and acted as if HE was the problem when he was not.
No offense to Schaub, he is good but it has taken him 3 YEARS to understand the Kubiak offense to finally look decent.
And remember, Schaub rode the pine for a long time

Schaub is one of the highest rated QBs in the NFL.
Carr is riding the pine.
Schaub is getting paid about 60% less than Carr was getting paid!
I think you are pointing out coaching problems.

CARR:
Wali Lundy at running back..Yes he was the next Barry Sanders LOL
Gaffney, Bradford and who at TE??? All dropping passes all over the place
Offensive Line: old 2-3 free agents who SUCKED. Our O -line now STILL sucks but is better than what Carr had
HORRIBLE DEFENSE!!! We lost TWO games Vs. the Colts and Titans in the end, NOT CARR like in year 2

The Texans focused on D lineman in the draft and now have the #1 rush D in the NFL.
Carr is not a starting QB in the NFL, he is over paid and always will be!
