@bukakee1 Hey there;
Nice to hear everything worked out for you. Water can be a pain in the backside sometimes, but we can't live without it. CLR really does work on a lot of minerals.
Thanks for your comments and all the best!!! Al

@TheOldkid888 Finally got back around to try fixing this. The CLR worked, I let is sit for about 5 minutes and then the handle popped off like a charm. Thanks again and happy new year.

@bukakee1 Hello;
It definitely sounds like hard water. Sometimes they can be very difficult. Try the CLR and let it sit for a while. Then try working the handle in a slight cross action motion; not putting to much pressure on it. I would do this a number of times and you should fair our alright. It probably will take a number of tries; so don't be discouraged. You will get it eventually.
Thanks for commenting and let me know how you get along!! Al
thanks for much for this. this was an excellent video/example and great tips for each step of the process. the ONLY thing i would have mentioned, for us novice plumbers, cut off the water to the faucet. :-D but again, thanks so much for this video!

what it be possible to just not install the anti scald retainers?
mrexecutive1 3 weeks ago
@mrexecutive1 Hello; In some buildings;such as a hospital;it is code that they be installed as the temperature should not rise above 110 degrees faurenheit,but I do not believe it is code in residential homes.One thing to keep in mind is that your hot water can be from 125 to 200 degrees depending on the source.I would suggest moving them ahead if you want a hotter shower then someone else,but keeping them in as a safety guard for children in particular.Tks for commenting and enjoy your day!Al
