Gilber Galvan was known as a charming traveling salesman living in small town Ontario. No one, not even his wife, suspected that he was really the slickest and most successful bank robber Canada had ever known. From 1984-87, Galvan robbed over a hundred banks across the country and netted himself millions, without leaving authorities a clue as to his true identity. A master of disguise, Galvan would stroll into a bank at lunch hour as a construction worker or hippie, casually rob a tellar and stroll out, removing his disguise to reveal an immaculate three-piece suit. More than a little audacious, Galvan would return to the scene of the crime and ask police what was going on. On one occasion, after authorities told him to move along, Galvan crossed the street and robbed a second bank. A drinker, gambler, and drug user, Galvan spent his money faster than he could make it.

  • @Methrt3 Statistics about crime in Canada that I've seen don’t support that statement.

  • Thanks for posting these videos.

  • your welcome XD

  • @chriscater lol

  • Shit i would be doing this for the adventure itself, don't really need the fucking money...

  • 4:23 Adam Lambert

  • Kevin Jonas robs banks now? 3:56 I never knew that Beaver Headed Canadian devoured the entire teen entertainment market.

  • TruTV needs to bring back this show and get rid of all of there shitty repo shows.

  • none of these guys on masterminds are really masterminds because if they were they wouldn't have gotten caught.

  • It is incredible, yet outrageous to think that crimes could be committed much more easily compared to today.
