It sounds like he was in a K tunnel. That would have made his blood pressure sky rocket and could mimic a stroke or a TIA. It would also explain his eventual complete recovery. Never drink anything somebody else opened.

Wow, didn't even know about this until now. Met Blitz before their show in Fresno at a small hall on Halloween, what a great guy (I think his hand was broken at the time but he didn't have a cast on it)...
