TANDAAN XI: NEVER FORGOTTEN
April 23, 2011

Dugso is a ceremonial dance from the Talaandig women of Bukidnon. The dancers create rhythms accented by their anklets while moving around a ceremonial fire. The smoke from the fire carries prayers and messages of thanksgiving to the gods. The headress is worn in respect of the mythical papagayok bird.
