@TheNochannelhere I'd say the same about Republicans, who have a persecution complex fostered by Fox News and are convinced that differing opinions are unamerican. Look at the rabid crowds in the GOP debates who cheer things like 234 Texas executions or letting uninsured die while booing a gay member of the military. Newt is a good example of someone in touch with this miserable and abrasive base who view vitriol as a virtue against anyone who disagrees as his #s in S.C. rise.

Wait a minute, you think Republicans are dicks? Democratic voters are the most miserable, hypocritical, mean spirited people I've ever met in my life. I'm not saying they are all like that and Republicans have theirs as well, but when it comes to Democratic policies and beliefs it's their way or nothing. You can't debate, you can't criticize, or question your party's policies or else you will be labeled. I'm not a kool aid drinker and always question what I see and hear by all our politicians.

Republicans love being dicks. That's the quality they appreciate more than anything. That and not embracing any policy that takes more than 5 words to explain.

@henryoil How is anyone asked to give their pensions? Learn the facts first
-
@circusmaximus10 . I wonder how many six figure salaried governors, superintendents, politicians like ole Weiner, and county commissioners are willing to sacrifice their pensions like they are asking teachers to do?

To the teach who said "teachers do it because they love it", don't complain about what you allow to happen. Your employer is the state and if the state doesn't to pay you then get another profession where you are valued.
Let's do some math..If 6,500 teachers have retired in 2010, and they all get FREE healthcare at $22,000 per family coverage PER year and they live at least 10 years after retirement, that's $1,430,000,000! And that's only for that crowd that retired! There are approx 88,000 public school teachers in NJ...do the similar math to understand how much NJ taxpayers are on the hook for...
