@LTF85199 sure, close your splines, then rightclick -> Convert to Poly

the thing i don't like in 3ds max is that, that u can,t made you mustl ike drag from square, u can't make like a vertex and then just made from them face, and then edges .

@Mountaind3ws you can create a plane and apply as a texture.

@demian91 you will need to delete the polygon of thoe edges. Top face of the cyclinder in this case

u have to do it exact in the shown order to make it work.
make it an editable poly - then delete top/bottom - and only then the loop edge thing works.

@Mountaind3ws add a plane and put the texture ( blueprint ) on that.. for instance
man please help. at 2:45 you hold your shift key and pull but when i do that nothing happens. im with 3ds max 2010.help!

Does anybody know if it is possible to model an object using some splines and arranging it like the wire frame on object and some way convert it into a a poly shape? does anyone understand what i am talking about? It is kind of like lofting but more complex, does 3ds max have a feature for this?
