The tone here is much more thicker than I have heard in his other videos...loved his tone anyways ,but please go back to this tone Steve...so much thicker and much more harmonic...no offense ...you are light years above all others in my opinion only...you have more talent in your little pinky finger than I have all together....

@live2shredguy Yeah. We all have our own gifts. What makes the huge difference, is what we do with those gifts. Some feel the drive or desire early on, and dedicate their lives to that passion. Some feel it, but are too afraid to chase that dream. Some people find themselves 'pushed' by others (parents, peers, etc...) to do something else with their lives. And some, never figure out what the gift is.
Steve followed his gift.
And aren't we so lucky for it...

@ntoffo123 Yes, there are lot of Satriani licks and style playing put in Vai's music. Very acceptable, maybe as a little tribute to his teacher.

@klumpos There is a natural talent, a gift for what he does. Yes, he had to learn how to harness that gift, to turn his passion into the music he creates now, but he was born to play. The gift was there. The passion to play, his dedication to practice and develop, the inspiration to write... that's what makes it shine so bright. Yes, he gives it his all. But the talent was there, as was the drive to make the most of it.
The Universe gave him a gift.
And aren't we so lucky for it...
