This is Circus Galop being played on a Casio LK-280 keyboard using Synthesia on the computer, via a standard USB printer cable. The Keyboard can have up to 10 keys lit at once (an improvement over the prior models 4 keys) so sit back and enjoy the meyhem!

I plan on making another video with the Death Waltz, but I need to find which combination of channels I can turn off that still sound okay, because the keyboard can handle it, but it sounds like a convouluted mess because there are so many notes at once.

  • @TefLdn The sound in the video is coming from the speakers on the actual keyboard. They are covered with a fabric and they are on the left and right sides of the control panel at the top of the keyboard. They look like the lighter colored parts

  • Hey, Please can you answer dis, does dis keyboard have speakers on it or u have to connect it to speakers cuz it looks like it doesnt have speakers

  • @BladeHydro I havent tried playing with that feature yet, i just stream them directly off the computer... However i can take a look and i'll let you know if i figure it out.

  • Hi, do you know how to download midi files onto the piano? I can't find a proper driver.

  • @targit999 Well, this particular one (the LK-280) is Casios' top of the line keyboard that has lighted keys, and it was just put on the market several months ago. Yamahas' current (and only) light up keyboard is the EZ-200. I beleive the Yamaha works with synthesia as well, however the Casio is a little higher end and has a standard USB plug so you don't have to fiddle around with MIDI converter cables. The Casio comes with an AC adapter as well. I'm sure either or will do you well.

  • Hey great video. Can you tell me whats the best light up keyboard from either yamaha or casio that is best compatible with synthesia ? And any newer keyboards better than Lk-280 ?
