You have beautiful hair. Don't pay attention to her. I have had people tell me that I need to straighten my hair. When I look up at their head, the hair is damaged to the last of its life. You don't need a relaxer.

This happens to me quite often with co workers or friends and i simply say i love my naturaly hair. AND THEN i see them again with my NATURAL hair lookin feirce, hair all wild and thick and healthy, lookin awesome and every time they ain't got s**t to say. What would you do? You get them with Thick -Long - Healthy hair the next time you see them.

I don't understand some people, forreal. Why is it so hard for some folks to keep their opinions to themselves? Honestly, had I been in your shoes, I would have easily said: "Now, why would I want to get a relaxer and end up bald headed like you?" because I know she didn't have any hair. Most chicks who relax their hair don't.

That was simply her opinion. In my opinion she was entirely incorrect. No one NEEDS a relaxer. Your hair is gorgeous, as are you. I would have done almost exactly what you did except I would have said that no one NEEDS a relaxer. Its a choice. i would have been nicely honest with her. First I would ask her "why" she feels that I need a relaxer then id tell her nicely why I feel I don't and that she is entitled to her opinion but that I didnt ask her for it.
