How does it work with a distortion channel without FX loop? I have an MXR MC401 Boost and it only Boosts my Clean Channel but not my Distortion, it only adds unclean saturation. I have a Mesa Boogie Express 5:50 which I love the tone of just the amps distortion but has no solo channel. Will this work for me? Thanks. By the way, Great Demo!!!

It'll work wonderfully for what you're looking for. I believe this is actually one of the best boosters ever made. Enjoy!!! =)

Correction: The MK 4.23 DOES NOT take batteries. It is a high draw circuit, that demands a 9V adapter. Check the Creation Audio Labs demo, it will tell you if it used batteries, they would die much too fast. Great pedal tho!
