Alan C having some fun doing direct Roll & Pitch control 'Ski-Tows' up the slope, in x-wind conditions. Precision Paragliding providing an alternative to the BHPA since the late 90's for BHPA & ex-BHPA pilots wishing to RE-train or new pilot entering the sport who do NOT wish to risk the standards/accident rates produced by 'normal' PG theory, practices & procedures!
why are you so anti-BHPA?

I personaly think that training that RESULTS in a lot of AVOIDABLE deaths & injuries is NOT a 'good thing'! You need to put this into contex, 10 years ago I was providing the information that would let the BHPA, should they CHOOSE to do so, slash their accident rates.. unfortunatly since then about another 70 UK pilots have paid the ultimate price resulting from incompitent instruction. IF the BHPA at some future time CHOOSE to cut their accident rates.....

Also I find it intresting that you removed my comment listing the technical errors in your 'MET' thermal YouTube clip.. The single biggest problem in paragliding is the 'Head in Sand' attitude that 'errors in instruction don't matter coupled with the "It was the pilots fault, it's (almost) never the instruction we gave them"...
Input (instruction) tends to result in a certain Output (accident rates)

In a whole summer 'training' with a Scottish BHPA school Alan got TWO hours flight time! In addition to the basic cost of the course he was paying for bed & breakfasting so he could 'train' on both Sat & Sunday... while in his first year RE-training and then flying with us he got almost 100 HOURS flight time!
