I first heard this song as a small child on a visit to India in the early 70's. Our neighbours had a TV and half the village had gathered to watch the Taj Mahal movie. I have always adored this song and the great love story that has endured the centuries. Lata's beautiful voice has kept their story alive. Thank you.

@undy999 Sir, I also do appreciate that an Israeli has loved our beloved and beautiful voice of Lataji and posted his comment on utube. And I understand ur feelings regarding someone using an abusive tone against him. I do support you by all means. Reading the 3rd sentence on your post made me feel a bit bad. I know that many muslims and pakis are like what you commented. But sir, I am a Muslim, but I love my beloved country India and am a very great fan of Lata ji. She is the greatest.
