Our dog Belle is trained to balance a basketball on her nose and run around the yard with it like seals do. She will even bring it to us in the air.

  • The video is real, we have other videos and hundreds of witnesses.

I trained her over years by kicking the ball which she would push back on the ground like a soccer ball. I then tried bouncing it to her; she would try to catch it in the air and the skill grew from there. She was obsessed with balls, playing hours a day and wearing out several balls a year. She preferred the size and weight of basketballs. Soccer balls were too light for her to get under and lift.

  • Thank-you eveyone for your kind words and enjoying Belle's balancing tricks. Unfortunately she was killed a few months ago in a dog fight. She was a pretty fiesty breed and got into it with a larger dog. She died from her injuries.

We do feel she could have done very well on a talent show. She would run around balancing that ball until her nose was bloody and we had to take the ball away to keep her from causing damage to herself.

  • I'm sorry for your loss :( .

It's way better to see dogs like this do tricks so good, than those stupid meme cats who talk like. "I can haz"

  • Yeah, everyone is a skeptic. I think that it's a great video! Thank you for sharing it with the world! Sorry to hear about Belle. Terriers are my favorite breed, and I know how fiesty they can get, especially around bigger dogs! Our Norwich Terrier would never back down to our German Shepherds and got himself into trouble a lot!

  • This isn't fake. I have a Jack Russell/Fox Terrier cross who does the exact same thing. We found it out when we took him for a walk and some kids were playing football (soccer). He ran over, started to dribble the ball between players, then got the ball on his nose and began running around with it.

  • I'm so sorry. R.I.P ;(

  • is real?

  • Sorry to hear about the fight, what an amazing dog she was.

  • Thanks for the video, I am so sorry for you loss!

What is with some of the rude comments?

  • stop taking credit for your dogs Intelligence .

  • haha I love that people think this is fake... not sure how this could be fake. This was actually my family's dog though in my backyard. Not fake at all. :)
